Paul Butterfield's Better Days live from the Record Plant, Sausalito on December 30th 1973

Having broken up his legendary Blues Band in 1971, Paul Butterfield took a prolonged break, retreating to Woodstock. There he befriended the fine musicians who joined his next, slimmed-down outfit, Better Days. Playing a more rootsy form of blues, they released two fine albums.

This remarkable set performed at the Record Plant in Sausalito on December 30th 1973, broadcast on KSAN-FM and captures them on top form, with some great guitar from Amos Garrett.

It's presented here together with background notes and images.
