Brian Auger’s musical chops began attracting attention in 1962 where he cut his teeth on the live circuit playing jazz piano in East End clubs with Tubby Hayes. Three years later, he joined Long John Baldry and Rod Stewart before forging ahead with a psychedelic groove alongside Julie Driscoll and The Trinity and the iconic hit This Wheel’s On Fire.
