Presented here in its cherished mono mix (copies of which routinely fetch hundreds of dollars), "Rev-Up" is a high-octane record. Bruce Johnston, fresh from his hit "Hey Little Cobra," is ready to rev things up with the elite of the hot rod club. While tracks from this album briefly appeared on another '60s car-themed collection, this edition is the definitive compilation, featuring the sole single released in 1963 under the name "The Vettes," which included "Little Ford Ragtop" on one side and "Happy Hodaddy (With Ragtop Caddy)" on the other.
