Alto-saxophonist Leo Wright got his start in Dizzy Gillespie's band in1959, but by the time he released Soul Talk in 1970 (recorded bylegendary producer Tom Dowd) for Atlantic/Vortex Records, he alreadyhad several "soul jazz" albums under his own name.
