Aces second salute to the genius of Jack Nitzsche is no less compelling than our first.
Once again the tracks have been carefully selected to give the full breadth of Nitzsches abilities during every stage of his 40+ year career, from his earliest sessions, through to Jacks final collaborations with C.C. Adcock just months before his death.
The track listing features a copious quantity of rare material, including many previously unissued tracks that will be new to even the most avid Nitzsche collector.
The tenacity of Aces licensing department has resulted in our being able to include many tracks that were not available at the time of the previous CDs release. Artists even queried their absence from Volume One and interceded with their record companies on our behalf.
As with "Hearing Is Believing" (CDCHD 1030), this CD is produced with the full co-operation and approval of Jack Nitzsches family.
The acclaim for "Hearing Is Believing" was matched by a level of sales that can only be described as highly impressive. Its hard to imagine that "Hard Workin Man" will be released to any lesser acclaim or sales.
