Jazz fusion guitarist extraordinaire recorded this introspective album following the early 70s recordings with John McLaughlin and Chick Corea that had raised his playing to another level. Joined by fellow Vanguard recording artists, the highly influential ethno-jazz unit Oregon (Ralph Towner, Colin Walcott and Glen Moore) the group recorded this album in 1975. Two outstanding long improvisations are highlights of the five tracks. This is a career highlight capturing Coryell in a subdued and thoughtful mode, this often overlook recording is finally available again. Deluxe gatefold CD.
