Colosseum is a groundbreaking British band, formed in 1968, celebrated for their innovative blend of jazz, rock, and blues. Founded by drummer Jon Hiseman, the original lineup featured some of the era’s top musicians, including Dick Heckstall-Smith on saxophone, Dave Greenslade on keyboards, and James Litherland on guitar. The band quickly earned acclaim for their energetic live shows and genre-defying albums like Those Who Are About to Die Salute You and Valentyne Suite.
