Their 1973 album Papillon is their second studio album and combines progressive rock, theatrical storytelling, and classical-inspired passages.
Papillon opens with a long title suite about a puppet who escapes into the world, falls in love, is judged and condemned, and is finally transformed. The album is one of the notable works of the Italian progressive rock scene of the early 1970s.
