Nektar's classic album from 1972 has been digitally remastered from the original master tapes for the first time (as the original Bellaphon CD release was taken from a poor quality copy master tape) . Every track on this wonderful album retains a place in Nektar's stage show to this day, including the "King of Twilight" (later covered by Iron Maiden), the jazz-tinged "Desolation Valley" and the epic title track. This expanded CD reissue includes both the original German mix from 1972 and the 1976 US remix of "Tab" (added as bonus material), marking the debut of this American mix on CD.
