Gilgamesh was a British jazz fusion band in the 1970's led by keyboardist Alan Gowen. The original basis of Gilgamesh was Gowen and drummer Mike Travis, guitarist Rick Morcombe, Jeff Clyne on bass and Alan Wakeman on saxophone. In 1975, Gilgamesh secured a contract with Virgin's subsidiary label Caroline Records, and recorded their debut album, with Hatfield's Dave Stewart as co-producer. This reissue comes on red vinyl.
