In the late '60s in Britain very few bands were as original and as awe inspiring as High Tide. During their all too brief career, this London-based band have recorded two albums of stunning power, originality and beauty ('Sea Shanties'from October 1969 and 'High Tide'from July 1970 - both released by Liberty Records) rewriting the rules of rock music and in turn giving birth to a stylistic hybrid that still defies classification. This vinyl compilation contains rare and unique tracks with great sound quality, like Apple Studio's early demos and finished and truly amazing album outtakes - all of them previously unreleased on vinyl.
