WELCOME TO LPCDREISSUES
Megan Sue Hicks is an American singer-songwriter—who later came to describe herself as a storyteller—whose tiny early-’70s recording moment grew into cult legend. She made her only album while living in Sydney, then largely disappeared from the music world’s view.
Maranatha (1972) is that solitary LP: a quiet, inward-looking blend of psychedelic folk and folk-rock, long prized as a “holy grail” rarity. First released in Australia in an extremely small pressing (often said to be around 200 copies), it features standout tracks like “Hey, Can You Come Out and Play” and “One Last Alley.”
