A little more rootsy than the Wackers, but still tilting in the power pop direction, Roxy
grew out of the Northern California band the Family Tree, who cut one record for RCA
before disbanding. This 1969 album got some nice press in places like Rolling Stone, but didn't
sell; still, Elektra was impressed enough to sign Segarini and Bishop's next band, the
