LPCDreissues: Looking forward to the past

This fantastic British combo was truly one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Unlike many other bands of the period, The Yardbirds did not limit themselves to R&B and blues covers, but quickly developed their own moody and increasingly experimental sound, driven by the powerful and inspired guitar playing of Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck. Includes 34 tracks taken from the "Giorgio Gomelsky tapes" (their manager and producer). Their biggest hits "For Your Love", "Heart Full of Soul", "Shapes of Things", and "I'm A Man" are also all included, along with many rarities, outtakes and live tracks. Also available on CD (FT 818).
