Digipack CD Spirit reached a creative peak with a concept work that many saw as Spirit's very own 'Sgt.Pepper'. With lyrical ideas based on Sci-Fi themes and brass augmenting the regular band, the album projected Spirit into a new dimension.

The original LP's 12 tracks were produced by David Briggs, best known for his work with Alice Cooper and Neil Young, and range in mood from soulful ballads to rockin' ravers. Among the highlights are such songs as 'Nature's Way' and 'Morning Will Come', written by guitarist Randy California.
Although hailed as a masterpiece by fans, the band's dreams ended when they broke up shortly after the album's release in 1970. The story of what happened next is told on the informative liner notes to this CD, that also includes four bonus tracks.
