LPCDreissues: Looking forward to the past

Originally privately released in 1978, Visions is the only album by Galaxy, a progressive rock group from Bremen. Electric guitar, keyboards and synthesizer effects shape a dramatic sound that combines hard-rock weight with spacious, science-fiction-inspired atmospheres.

The album moves from the melodic opening of “Ladies in the Wind” through the expansive “Morning of the Magicians – Part One” and the darker, more forceful “Consequences.” Its second half develops the futuristic theme further, culminating in “Warrior of the Endless Time” and the extended closing piece “Atomic Flight.” This Garden of Delights edition restores an album originally issued in a private pressing of only 500 copies and includes a substantial colour booklet.
