‘Wake Up…It’s Tomorrow’ is the second album by the American psychedelic rock band ‘Strawberry Alarm Clock’ and is probably one of the most overlooked albums of that time. Listen to the hidden psychedelic gems “Tomorrow” and “Curse Of The Witches” (almost a mini anthem going on for nearly 7 minutes and tells the story of a man whose daughter is cursed with the witches blood). In 1970 the band appeared in the Russ Meyer cult classic film ‘Beyond The Valley Of The Dolls’. By this time the band toured the South with a support act called Lynyrd Skynyrd. When the Strawberry’s disbanded Ed King accepted the invitation from the upcoming ‘Skynyrd’s’ to join the band and became one of Lynyrd Skynyrd’s most important song(co-)writers (“Sweet Home Alabama” a.o.).
