For the first time on vinyl, this is one of Long Hairs' classic items. Jud's Gallery recorded nine long tracks over two studio sessions in 1972 and 1974. Excellent intelligent progressive krautrock, drenched in occasional classic and heavy blues rock. These songs have been digitally remastered from the original tape to perfect studio quality. Jud's Gallery's epic instrumental passages are dominated by great guitar, organ and violin playing, supported by the excellent bass player and band founder Jürgen "Judy" Winter and drummer Sibi Siebert (later of Twelve Drummers Drumming fame). Includes the classic 'Nordrach' (12 minutes), which apparently influenced the theme of Gary Moore's 'Still Got The Blues'. This double album comes with a 13 minute bonustrack called 'New Day's Dawning', recorded in 1975 with guitarist Helmut Krieg of Sperrmüll fame. Comes with a lot of photos and four-sided insert with full band story.
