JEFFERSON AIRPLANE should not need any introduction. They were one of the leading west coast bands of the 60's and possibly, in commercial terms, the most successful.

BARK, originally released in 1971 in a limited edition paper bag was followed by the last ever AIRPLANE album release LONG JOHN SILVER in 1972.

Marty Balin had by this time left the band leaving GRACE SLICK and PAUL KANTNER to steer the Airplane into what eventually became JEFFERSON STARSHIP."
