Shotgun were the precursor to Vizion, which is known for having the album "Rock For Your Life" issued in 1979. Shotgun played a rough and tumble brand of rock and roll, pretty much no frills and in your face riff rock. Hailing from Dallas and active between 1972 and 1979, ShroomAngel Records is proud to be releasing their long lost music recorded for posterity in the mid 70's. Dallas, TX was a hotbed for great rock and roll acts in the 1870's, but shotgun ruled the roost with thei brand of polished but hard-hitting riff based blues rock. With a confidence bordering at cokiness they built a huge local funbase during their heyday in the mid 70's. Now, after more than 38 years , their long lost studio sessions, recorded between 1974 and 1976 are presented for the first time ever on vinyl and CD, fsaithfully remastered from original studio multi-track mastertapes!
