Formed in the Netherlands in 1961, Golden Earring started out as a hit-parade-influenced pop band, and gradually evolved into a competent psychedelic outfit, having their first international hit with a cover of the Byrds' "Eight Miles High." They toured the world, and eventually cracked the U.S. top 40 in 1974 with the insistent boogie-stomper "Radar Love." Although they wouldn't have another big hit until a decade later, with the synth-heavy MTV favorite "Twilight Zone," the band continued unabated, and in fact still performs, tours, and records. After over 40 years of creativity, they are undoubtedly one of the longest running bands in rock. Track listing: 1. Yellow And Blue - (studio)
