Marianne Segal was the leader and main songwriter of Legendary UK Folk Rock band Jade who made the highly regarded Fly On Strange Wings LP cited by Mojo as one of the Top 10 UK Folk Rock albums of the 1970s. Gypsy Girl is almost entirely comprised of previously unreleased material recorded by Marianne between the end of Jade and the present day and is limited to 500 copies. The album includes guest appearances by Dave Mattacks (Fairport) Graeme Taylor (Gryphon and The Albion Band) 70-s UK Harmony Pop ensemble The Real Thing and session guitarist Chris Spedding."
