Dada was a Japanese instrumental band active in the late 1970s, recognized for their minimalist and ambient electronic sound. Their 1978 album Jyo features sparse, atmospheric compositions inspired by the Japanese scroll Gaki Zoshi and is dedicated to Brian Eno. The album was recorded on April 19, 1978, at Sounds Creation studio in Osaka.
