The Stray Cats were born of the punk era, but it was evident fromtheir love of pure rock & roll that rockabilly would be their drivingforce. Guitarist/vocalist Brian Setzer, Lee “Rocker” Drucker onstandup bass and Jim “Slim Jim Phanton” McDonald on drumstook their revivalist style to England from their native Long Island and slowly set the world on fire.

Live At Rockpalastare recordings of two German live shows. Thealbum starts with their 1983 set from Loreley Open Air, whichwas recorded just before the release of their third albumRant N’Rave. The second set was recorded a few years before, in 1981in Cologne. This release lets you hear exactly how the Stray Catsestablished their reputation as a great live band.
