Released on 25/01/10. Esoteric are pleased to begin a series of CD reissues of the catalogue of Finnish Progressive group WIGWAM with their classic 1975 album Nuclear Nightclub, the band's seventh album and their first UK release on Virgin. Formed in Helsinki in 1969, the band featured the talents of British Keyboard player and vocalist Jim Pembroke.

By the time this album was recorded the band had been through line-up changes that saw original members Jim Pembroke and drummer Ronnie Osterberg joined by Pekka Richardt (Guitar) and Mans Groundstroem (Bass).

Nuclear Nightclub introduced WIGWAM to a wider European audience and through compositions such as the album s title track, Freddie Are You Ready , Bless Your Lucky Stars , Simple Human Kindness and Pigstorm the album gained many staunch supporters, including Julian Cope.

This Esoteric reissue, in full co-operation with Love Records in Finland, marks the album's debut release in the UK and is long overdue.
