One was another of the numerous bands that have come to provide an elusive chunk of the jigsaw. Inevitably, all the pieces will come together, but it’s a hugely complex picture when dealing with the amount of musicians and the bands they existed in for little more than six months at the tail end of the 1960s. One were born out of an earlier revolution and whose roots can be traced to the mid-sixties R&B scene which would give way to the psychedelic and progressive blues scenes a few years later. Various members had come up through the beat ranks in Timebox, The Loose Ends, The Rogues, Happy Magazine and Gass all enjoying varying degrees of success, but by the end of the decade would come together to form the progressive outfit One. After a lone album with Fontana (released in the UK, Spain, France and Germany) and two continental-only single releases from 1970, the dream was quickly over. Stoned Circle proudly presents the super rare album by progressive rockers One. Originally issued in 1969 and now highly sought-after by collectors of British progressive rock. As an added bonus track, we have included their only non-LP side taken from a shared single release with French pop artist Cesar in 1970 thus combining all of their recorded output. ENJOY! Professionally re-mastered original sound recording with background liners and rare archival photos.
