MOTHER EARTH came out of TEXAS in the late 60's and established themselves in SAN FRANCISCO with a string of albums for MERCURY and REPRISE and this final outing for COLUMBIA/SONY in 1973.Their roots were in blues and country and gospel and TRACY NELSON'S voice was their prime strength.The band ended their career in Nashville and a more country sound as found on this re-release available for the first time on CD. TRACY NELSON went on to record solo albums over the next three decades and recently released her latest "EBONY AND IRONY" on EVANGELINE.
