Siloah from Munich was an underground band, who did release its first album in 1970. The LP is selftitled, but sometimes also called "Säureadler" , since one of the tracks was called "Acid Eagle" refering to lyseric acid derived from ergot fungus, the basis of LSD which had become well-known at this time. Anyhow the music of Siloah and some other bands of that time can only be unterstood against the background of their experiments with psychedelic drugs. One played hippie-psych-folk; everyone was free to do and play whatever he/she liked. You can hear this when listening to the long track "Aluminium Wind", especially. The original-LP is unpossible to find today, so the official 180-gram vinyl reissue ( limited to 500 copies ) comes just in time, now! Thick cover.
