This excellent album was recorded in 1969. Founded in July 1967 by classically-trained violinist and folk artist Spencer Perskin, Shiva's headband have proved to be one of Texas' most durable outfits. After scoring locally with a couple 45s, the band moved to San Francisco in the late '60s and recorded their debut album. This is their second album, that follows the same psychedelic rural rock path with some great extended jams in the San Francisco spirit. "
