Psychedelic Prog-Rock band The Moody Blues were at the height of their career, and in the middle of recording their 'Classic Seven' albums, when they released 1969's 'To Our Children's Children's Children'.
Inspired by the historical moon landing, the album centers around time, space travel, and children, creating a musically and lyrically profound work.
Its heavy reverb on the vocals, lush orchestration (that includes a mellotron, harp, sitar, flute next to the more 'traditional' band set-up) and extensive overdubbing made the songs next to impossible to play live, making this the last of their 'big' studio productions.
This Music On Vinyl re-issue's audio is based on the 2008 re-mastering, and includes a lyric sheet.
