180 gram LP re-mastered reissue of the original 1972 album Recorded by Veloso in 1972 immediately after his return from political exile in the UK, the album was the first to feature a mix of songs sung in English and Portuguese and is somewhat of a musical departure from his earlier albums, this album being slightly more rock (apparently being in London had left a musical impression on him). Although Veloso is careful to avoid the kind of overt political statements that set him at odds with Brazil's military regime and got him sent into exile in the first place, Veloso had far from dropped his political convictions and his politics are hidden in plain enough sight for anyone who cares to scratch the surface.
