Edition on 180-gram . Hairy Chapter was founded in Bonn in 1969 by Harry Unte (vocals), Harry Titlbach (guitar), Rudolf Oldenburg (bass) und Rudi Haubold (drums). The band existed for only two years and -officially- released two albums. The debut, 'Eyes' was released by budget label Opp in 1970. (Tracks of that LP were previously issued in 1969 on an LP released by 'Billiglabel' Maritim, which was credited to the non-existing Chaparall Electric Sound Inc.). 'Can't Get Through' was the band's second album (released by Bacillus Records), which the band (in a slightly different line-up) recorded with renowned engineer and producer Dieter Dierks. Dierks added strong psychedelic rock elements to the group's bluesy hard-rock, with truly breathtaking results.
