Following the release of FELT’s first five albums in February, the band’s reissue campaign continues with the second half of their discography.

During the ‘80s Felt recorded ten albums and ten singles for the Cherry Red and Creation labels. This gorgeously-produced series explores the work of one of the greatest indie groups in recent memory.

These vinyl records, unavailable for many years, have been remastered and revisited by Lawrence, and he has fashioned the ultimate definitive collections. They are available in a deluxe gatefold sleeve.

"Forever Breathes the Lonely Word" is was released in 1986. This album is particularly celebrated as one of the highlights in Felt's discography, featuring a fuller, more melodic sound than some of their earlier works.

The album is noted for its lush organ-driven sound, largely due to the contributions of keyboardist Martin Duffy, who later joined Primal Scream. The keyboards add a rich texture to the album, complementing the jangly guitar work that Felt is known for. The combination creates a dreamy, melancholic atmosphere that pervades the record.

Lyrically, Lawrence continues to explore themes of love, loss, and existential contemplation, which are delivered with his characteristic poetic flair. Songs like "All the People I Like are Those That are Dead" and "Grey Streets" are standout tracks that showcase the band's ability to blend melancholy with catchy, compelling music.

"Forever Breathes the Lonely Word" is often regarded as one of the best examples of Felt's artistry, blending emotional depth with accessible indie pop tunes. The album holds a special place in the hearts of Felt fans and is frequently cited as a favorite due to its cohesive sound and emotional resonance.
