Irish Coffee’s self-titled album is one of the essential Belgian hard rock records of the early 1970s. Originally released on Triangle in 1971, it combines heavy guitar work, Hammond-driven progressive touches and the powerful voice of William Souffreau into a sound that sits naturally beside the heavier European rock of the period.

The album opens with the direct attack of Can't Take It and moves through the dramatic two-part The Show, the heavy blues-rock feel of Hear Me and the darker closing piece I'm Lost. This Thors Hammer CD edition expands the original LP with seven bonus tracks from the band’s single material, including Masterpiece, Carry On, Down Down Down, Witchy Lady and I'm Hers.
