Led by perennial keyboards virtuoso Tim Hinkley, JODY GRIND were at the forefront of the late 60s UK Prog/Underground scene. Drawing extensively on Jazz, Classical and Hard Rock influences, they took their name from the celebrated piece by Jazz pianist Horace Silver. This 2-CD set comprises everything they recorded for Transatlantic Records between 1969-70, and includes two albums, "One Step On" (1969) and "Far Canal" (1970). Hinkley went on to become a noted session muso, working with the likes of Vinegar Joe, Bad Company, Dr Feelgood, Thin Lizzie, Elkie Brooks, Whitesnake, Steve Marriott, etc.
