AME SON was a pionneer from the French underground scene since the late Sixties, with ex-members from BANANAMOON founded by Daevid ALLEN. Its music, sung in French, is halfway between melodic passages close to early GONG and avant-garde improvisations made of strident sounds. "Primitive" includes previously unreleased recordings by this Seventies underground band.
