Radioactive are proud to release this legendary piece of jangly
garage beat rock from the mid '60s
Originally released in 1965 on the rainbow Capitol label (T-6115),
this legendary Canadian band has bone fide pre-Steppenwolf
connections. The band was originally based in Toronto and enjoyed
success with a handful of Mersey beat singles and this eponymous
album.
Wanting other things Jack London left and in came John Kay who
hooked up with the rest of the band and became The Sparrows,
although Kay was soon to depart for Los Angeles to find fame and
fortune as a founding member of Steppenwolf.
The album contains a number of stand-out tracks, with If You Don't
Want My Love and Its Been One of Those Days being particularly
memorable, as is the pre-ride of Born to be Wild!!!!
Jack London and the Sparrows is one of the rarest and most
collectable of the Canadian Capitol albums
