Tyburn Tall was founded in 1969 in Speyer / Germany and played progressive rock with classical influences. The instrumentation was organ, piano, guitar, bass, drums and vocals. Some of the musicians as the keyboarder and the bassman had absolvated a classical training. After many successful gigs, among these as opener for Golden Earring and Renaissance, the band decided to record an own vinyl. This self-titled LP was released on the small label Lutz&Kern in an edition of 200 copies. Unfortunately more than half of the records were destroyed in a fire in the music shop Markus in Speyer. Beside this and due to the brilliance of its music today this LP belongs to the most thought-after German Prog-Rock-LPs. For original LPs was and will be paid up to ¤ 2.500,-. This limited and official reissue presents a wonderful FOC and was pressed on 180 gram vinyl.
