By the mid-1970s, Johnny Cash had an enormous catalogue of classics from which to choose at his live performances. Backed by the Tennessee Three, here he offers a wealth of these songs.
These recordings were made in 1976 during an appearance on the Jamboree USA show, broadcast on WWVA in Wheeling, West Virginia. Sprinkled amongst the hits from the '50s, '60s and '70s are folk tunes and B-side gems, as well as a few contributions from Anita Carter, the Carter Family, and Johnny's wife, June Carter Cash.
