Fyter was a hard-rock band from Morrilton, Arkansas, known for their self-released private album from 1978.

Their music blended powerful hard-rock riffs and solos with psychedelic elements, drawing inspiration from artists like Led Zeppelin, Foghat, Hendrix, Stones, Who…

After recording their debut album, “Fyter”, the band started to work on a possible follow-up. Most of the tracks included here were recorded at a studio in Little Rock owned by a friend of the band except for few ones recorded at the band’s four-track basement studio.

The music contained on “Flying” was there, waiting on tapes in various boxes, in various closets. After 40 years it finally arrives on vinyl.
