A superb vinyl reissue of the '72 sophomore album by the highly rated German band Eiliff. Like the s/t debut from the previous year, the album combines influences from the British progressive scene with typical kraut moves. However, a difference is that this second effort rocks harder, with intensely chopping piano and organ, a solid rhythm section, virtuoso guitar playing from Houschäng Nejadepour, and lots of smooth "Mother styled" electric sax. This reissue of 'Girlrls' comes with remastered sound from the original tapes with two bonus tracks from their 7-inch, and an informative insert, based on notes by keyboardist Rainer Brüninghaus.
