A superb collection of hot performances by the master blues-rock guitarist is unleashed on an album that first surfaced in 1994 and has previously been known by various different titles. It was released as ‘Nineteen Ninety Four’ in Europe and as ‘I Hear Your Rockin’’ in the USA, and is otherwise known as ‘Keep On Rocking’ - which it sure does!
The band was one of Alvin’s best and comprises Tim Hinkley (piano), Steve Grant (keyboards), Steve Gould (bass) and Alan Young (drums) backing Alvin, who sings and plays his Gibson with all his old fury. Alvin’s old pal George Harrison makes a guest appearance on ‘The Bluest Blues’ and the vocalists include Joe and Sam Brown.
