Audiophile pressing on 180 gram of a much sought after 1970 album. This is a psych classic that brings to mind the trippy side of Donovan. Wil Malone is also known from Orange Bicycle and the Motherlight's highly regarded 'Bobak, Jons, Malone' LP from 1970.
In 1970, he released this obscure solo album for the Fontana label. Apparently, fewer than 200 copies reached the shops at the time, so this is one of the rarest UK major label albums ever with original copies fetching £2.000.
The music contained here is reminiscent of a psychedelic Donovan, full of baroque arrangements (flute, oboe, strings, bass, acoustic guitar), occasional trippy effects, pastoral & haunting folk- like songs and the fragile voice of Malone. Essential to anyone into UK psychedelia and obscure singer/ songwriter stuff. Reissued for the first time on vinyl, original artwork.
