Renowned as the first Mexican band to sing in English, Los Dug Dug's can trace their history as far back as 1963, when they formed as high school students in Durango, Mexico. After gigging tirelessly around Mexico, and paying an ultimately abortive visit to New York in 1968, they finally issued their classic debut album in Mexico in 1971. Packed with catchy tunes, melodic flourishes and fuzz guitar, it's a lost classic and makes its long-awaited return to CD here, complete with biographical notes.
