Formed in 1967 and originally known as Savoy Brown Blues Band, Savoy Brown went on to be one of UK’s most successful bands from the late ‘60s / early ‘70s Blues explosion. In fact they enjoyed more success in the US than in the UK. Shake Down, their debut album from 1967 featured the classic line-up of Kim Simmonds on guitar, Paul Raymond on keyboards, guitar and vocals, Ian Ellis on bass guitar and Tommy Farnell on drums. Album artwork restored to its original glory, cut from the original analogue masters & 180grm Heavyweight vinyl.
