This is the second of 10 reissues of the cult French underground Futura label and the first album of the group, which was recorded in December 1970. MAHOGANY BRAIN were led by street poet and underground film maker Michel Bulteau and Patrick Geoffrois. They share these raw aesthetics with the Velvet Underground and deliver here 12 savage and unhinged songs of distorted guitars with crude lyrics.
