Not to be confused with Dr. Feelgood, the UK pub-rock group, this is an LP by DOCTOR Feelgood, an unrelated American outfit specializing in moody, heavy blues-rock and obscurity. That band's lone 1971 LP, which features strong psychedelic blues-rock in the spirit of early Tull, and a woodwind player clearly influenced by both Ian Anderson and free-jazz, is long out of print on vinyl and long sought after by serious heads. A must have for any collector of progressive blues-rock and/or private press rock!
