pop-psych first
appeared in
1968, and
features the talents of singer Barbara Keith
(whose songs have been covered
by Barbara Streisand, Delaney &
Bonnie, Lowell George and
others), John Hall (of 70s hitmakers
Orleans) and ND Smart
(a member of Mountain and the
legendary Great Speckled Bird,
who went on to play with Gra m
Parsons). The band was shortlived,
but they opened for acts
such as the Doors and the Who,
and their sole album makes its
long -overdue CD debut here,
complete with explanatory liner
notes.
